BANG S.r.l. was founded in 1990 by Carlo Tamburini, a keen collector of vintage cars and even more of high quality scale model cars. BANG reproduces to the perfect scale of 1/43 very detailed model cars for adult collectors, it has the approval of and directly supplies some of the most important motor companies in the world. The design and various construction stages of the moulds are carried out using high technology systems and new solutions especially created by the technicians at BANG. All the model accurately correspond to reality, in line, colour, detail, accessories and decoration according to the various competitions and are the result of a long researches. On average a model is made up of 450 to 70 parts, in metal (Zama), plastic, rubber, steel, aluminium etc., painting is carried out using the same technique as real cars. Since 1993 many metal parts have been introduced, reproduced using the "photoengraving" technique which enables the realisation of parts with a thickness of a tenth a millimetre. Production is entirely carried out in Italy and is conducted on a cottage industry level: many manufacturing stages and all the assemblage are carried out by hand by highly specialised staff. The quality of its models has very quickly taken BANG to high levels, so mach so as to be awarded various acknowledgements such as "Best model of the year" and its small masterpieces are appreciated by collectors all over the world.
